The Story Behind the Signature

Hi, I’m Takiyah Hampton, founder of The Hampton Signature Co., a professional notary practice built on accuracy, integrity, and an elevated client experience.

​

My career began with 15 years at Sprint, where I developed strong communication skills, leadership experience, and a client‑first mindset. Those strengths carried me into the mortgage industry, where I spent more than a decade specializing in Quality Assurance, Loss Mitigation, and Underwriting — roles that demanded precision, compliance, and a deep understanding of complex documentation.

In my underwriting role, I completed final underwriting reviews of loan modification files, ensuring accuracy of terms and full compliance with investor guidelines. I verified trial payment histories, recalculated modification terms using investor waterfalls, and prepared files for investor approval. I collaborated closely with Loss Mitigation and Servicing teams to resolve discrepancies, maintain regulatory alignment, and ensure all documentation met investor, state, and federal requirements before finalization.

This experience strengthened my ability to analyze complex documents, identify inconsistencies, and uphold strict compliance standards — skills that directly elevate the loan signing and notary services I provide today.

 

I also support operations within my husband’s drug‑testing company, gaining firsthand experience in service delivery, compliance, and the operational demands of running a professional service business. That experience reinforced my commitment to creating smooth, reliable, client‑centered processes — a standard I now bring into The Hampton Signature Co.

 

I earned my notary commission in 2021 and renewed it in May 2026, a milestone that inspired me to build this brand with intention. While I’m in the early stages of offering notary services, my approach remains consistent: professional, detail‑driven, and rooted in excellence.

 

My background in QA, underwriting, Loss Mitigation, and service operations sharpened the skills that define my work today: accuracy, discretion, and an unwavering respect for detail — especially when handling mortgage and loan signing documentation.

My long‑term vision is to establish The Hampton Signature Co. as a trusted notary practice in Dallas–Fort Worth, and eventually expand into a network of notaries who uphold the same elevated standard.
